Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, announced at a press conference on Thursday that 1 million to 200,000 pilgrims have arrived from all over the world to perform Hajj rites.

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah said that competent authorities have launched an international campaign in more than 20 countries around the world to raise awareness about the dangers of violations of Hajj regulations and fake campaigns.

He said that under the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior and its partners in the Emirate of Makkah, it is working to raise awareness about the Hajj and implement regulations and guidelines regulating the Hajj to ensure that everyone can perform the Hajj “without permission.” He explained that a nationwide campaign called “No Hajj” has been launched. Hajj is the completion of rituals in a regular manner, comfortably and orderly.

He added that the world’s largest cooling station will purify the air in the Grand Mosque, making the atmosphere soft and cool, and is ready to operate Mashar trains with a capacity of 72,000 passengers per hour during this year’s Hajj season. The Mashar train will contribute to the transport of more than 350,000 pilgrims between the holy sites.

He also said authorities overseeing the performance of Hajj rituals have completed work to prepare Jamarat facilities for packing and clearing plans, supporting overhead umbrellas and softening the air with cold fog to reduce temperatures and increase air temperatures. pointed out.
