12 ways to refresh the kitchen during spring

MONews
12 Min Read

I have a corner of my beloved breakfast in the kitchen right in front of two large windows. I know that spring is on the road when I can sit comfortably without frozen, and the vase of the table is permanently filled with flowers. I like winter comfort, but I’m in the warmth of spring, especially in the corner of breakfast! And I like to spend Saturdays when the spring kitchen starts a refresh season.

Spring is a perfect time to bring new life into the house, and the kitchen (everything) is attracting your attention. The winter kitchen is a herb for warmth and coziness, but the spring kitchen is light and ventilated. Good news is that the spring refreshing is not overwhelming or expensive. Even the smallest change can change space and feel fresh in spring. Read 12 simple but influential ways to activate the kitchen and guide you bright and fresh spring energy.

Declutter

Refresh in the spring kitchen starts with a good declutter. Take the tools and home appliances into inventory, then occupy an unnecessary space or throw or donate item that you do not use. Are you hanging on broken glasses or plates? Now it’s time to let go of them. If you find an old food storage container or an old tableware towel that does not match the lid you have seen, you can give you the permissions to break up with them. Spring becomes bright and reduces all forms of confusion, the kitchen feels fresh and attractive. This includes the countertops and cabinets! If itching is re -arranged, Spring is a perfect time to try new things. I recently exchanged my vitamix and espresso machines and my kitchen feels new!

Deep

Of course, spring cleaning includes a kitchen. The deep clean thing means a new start, and I am a sparkling clean kitchen. To enter the area, wear a playlist and collect your beloved cleaning items. Start with the basics, go down to the surface, rub the sink and clean the floor. Then clean the refrigerator, microwave and inside the oven. (I want to do this work on Saturday or Sunday!) Sprinkle dust, wipe the instruments and lighting equipment, and filter the floor with the last task. If you do so, you will not miss the dust or debris that falls on the floor while cleaning. Don’t worry that you can’t do everything in the afternoon because a true clean cleaning can take a few days depending on the split method!

Refresh your food storage room

If you do not organize the food storage room, the spring kitchen will not be refreshed. The grocery store can be overtime in winter, so it feels especially refreshing when you switch to spring. To start, take everything out (eg, really!). Set the items you want to donate separately. If the food storage room is empty, clean the floor and wipe the shelf. Configure the items stored in the group, put them back in the food storage room and keep them similar to their favorite. The basket and the trash can help you group the items, and the label maintains a place where everything is needed. Professional tip: Keep everyday items as a vision and keep less used materials in high or drawers. I sprayed my croquis pot in the grocery storage room for spring. She retires until autumn!

Bring fresh greenery

If the kitchen does not have a herb garden, it is perfect for spring kitchen refresh to start. The vivid color is synonymous with the spring, and if you add green spaces to the space, you can immediately raise the countertop. Do you know where to start? Mint and basil thrive indoors and are suitable for decorating spring recipes.

If the herb is not clear, instead, place fresh flower vases on the counter or add indoor plants to a clear window. If the shelf or counter space is limited, you can also walk plants from the ceiling. There is also a pot that can be mounted on the wall! I am the same when I catch the disco ball sowing, especially when I catch the light. Plants not only brighten the kitchen, but also improve air quality. It’s really win -win.

Replace the fabric

You can do the same thing in the kitchen as if you were exchanging heavy knits with a light throw in the living room. Replace the heavy winter kitchen linen with a lighter bridge bridge fabric. You can retire a deeper and more pleasant dish towel for a softer and softer and pastel. Spring is for linen napkin and prints such as gingham and flowers. If you want, add a fresh runner for the table and classify the spring and summer fibers to prepare a warm weather meeting.

Layer of Seasonal Art

I think the art of your kitchen has been greatly underestimated. Nothing is more sophisticated than the beautiful prints in the backsplash or coffee station. Kitchen decoration is a great way to personalize space for spring. I recently hosted a home coffee shop with my small logo and menu, and the menu is now hanging on the corner of the kitchen. It is a fun memory and I like to see it every morning when I make coffee!

If you decorate the kitchen during the spring, tilt your body with a soft color to keep the space bright. Turn on a floral print, tilt a vintage plant sketch of the backs flash, or mark the handwriting recipes of a loved one. Inspired by the collected prints or foods, the small gallery walls of the work will add life to your space and act as a great dialogue starter.

Introduce the signature spring scent

I like to maintain fragrant candles in the kitchen. Even if no one cooks, it keeps the atmosphere fresh. I like fragrances like citrus or lavender for spring. There are also basil candles that like lighting. The kitchen candle can be designed to remove the odor before, or after cooking, and can be convenient when the salmon is in the menu.

If the candle is not yours,,, Lemon Slice, Rosemary and Vanilla extracts make your own stove top popuri to create a natural home perfume. Even simple lemon and water boiled pots are fresh in a few minutes.

Drink station

Nap new coffee or tea house

Morning coffee and tea consciousness are what many of us expect. I tasty hot coffee and lats in winter, but it is sacred to switch to ice coffee. Integrate light season drinks, such as water injected with ice matcha, flower tea, or citrus, and give you a twist of spring in the morning ritual. I also pick up my vacation and winter mugs and bring a small flower mug collection. Curate the tray as a dish for seasonal mugs, small honey bottles, lemon slices, so that you can feel the space intentionally and attractive. Spring morning routines, unlike winter, have been wintered, so you can prepare the kitchen space and start your day with your right foot.

Update small home appliances and accessories

It is not completely needed to purchase a new item for resetting the Spring Kitchen, but you can see that you need updates after declutter. Do not be afraid to treat yourself with the new appliance when the new season begins. My husband and I have recently received the ninja cream we are obsessed with and are eating homemade protein ice cream every night! If a new home appliance is not on the card, you can replace the instrument holder or add a new cutting board to refresh the kitchen without a big appointment.

Mark the fruit

There is nothing more lovely than the lemon bowl placed on the kitchen counter or table. Don’t you think? It adds color pop and some charms. Mark citrus fruits in a pretty bowl in spring and reach it often. Use citrus fruits for cooking, drinks and cleaning purposes. We like to keep garbage treatment fresh using lemon. Sprinkle lemon slices, baking soda and ice cube and run once a month.

Upgrade your tableware

Spring is a good time to refresh everyday dishes. Consider a gorgeous or textured plate, glass products, or bowls, making it easy and seasonal. I added a set of flower paint to my wedding registry almost 10 years ago, but I still love it in spring and summer. Colors and patterns are added too much to tables and daily meals!

If the full culinary set is not on the budget, add some statements that bring joy. If you have a special plate or a glass of drinking, your experience is high.

Add a fresh paint coat

Spring kitchen doesn’t have to be subtle. If you are ready to make a big change, fresh paint coats can completely change the kitchen. White and classic neutral like creams will not be truly out of style, but the color trend of 2025 is a bit more daring. For spring, choose a light and ventilated kitchen color, such as soft sage green or subtle blue. If you want to make more statements, deeper blues, olive green, and mustard yellow are entering the kitchen this year. If you have itching to paint deep in the cabinet, keep the walls neutral and don’t be afraid to get away from the white kitchen. Make your personality shine!
