Whenever a debate begins about finishing a game, it begins and ends with just one name: MS Dhoni. Throughout his cricketing career, he has crossed the winning line countless times, the last for Team India and his IPL team when all odds were against him. Even after retiring from the Indian cricket team, he can still easily complete an IPL match.

1> Dhoni stunned KXIP to qualify for IPL playoffs.
If you have been watching IPL since 2008, don’t forget Dhoni’s celebration of hitting his helmet after the win against KXIP in IPL 2010. Uffffff!!! Such was the intensity and importance of the CSK & Dhoni match.
With CSK needing 16 runs from the final over to enter the knockout stages, Irfan Pathan was left with MS Dhoni on 36 runs off 25 and Albie Morkel (he was just a spectator). In the very next ball, Irfan again missed a length and bowled a length ball to MS, who again showed his mighty muscles and hit a powerful six at long-on to take CSK to the knockout stages.
After notching six wins, MS Dhoni showed a rare display of unbridled emotion and punched Morkel in the face as he grabbed him from behind. As KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta collapsed gruesomely into the hospitality box, his team members rushed to the spot. In 2010, hitting 16 in the final over was as difficult as hitting 6 in an over.

IPL 2021 season has not been good for dhoni. He received a lot of criticism that season due to his poor performance with the bat, even though CSK performed admirably well as a team. But when the stage was big and all odds were against him, Dhoni struck all the critics with his superb finish in the IPL 2021 qualifiers held at the Dubai International Stadium.
After a brilliant innings of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Robin Uthappa in the game reaching the final over, CSK needs 13 runs in the final over to reach the final of IPL 2021. DC skipper Rishabh Pant gave Tom Curran a chance to watch the final over. After a wide delivery, Dhoni hit Tom curran on the first ball to get a crucial boundary.
Now 8 runs were needed off 5 balls, dhoni took the lead off the second ball which resulted in 4 runs behind the wicketkeeper. CSK emerged victorious as MS pulled a short ball towards deep square leg to score 4 runs. In this way dhoni unbelievable finish took CSK to final of IPL 2021.

4> Dhoni handed MI their 7th consecutive defeat with his superb finish.
IPl 2022 season has not been very good for CSK. They finished second last in the points table with just four wins under their kitty. However, the only positive thing for CSK fans is that dhoni was in top form during the entire IPL 2022. Excellent finishing skills against Mumbai Indians At the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

5> Dhoni’s historic finish against RCB in IPL 2018 took CSK home.
IPL 2018 was a fairytale season for CSK. Every batsman and bowler gave their best to win their third IPL title. After impressive performances for RPS in 2016 and 2017, Dhoni returned to CSK and made his mark. He had a number of great innings in 2018, but 70 innings The 34 balls against RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium had a separate fan base.
