This stand is made of simple, beautifully shaped wood (walnut or maple) with stainless steel pieces and leather to keep your laptop from slipping. For the most ergonomic setup, we recommend adding a separate keyboard and mouse. If your PC is made of granite, it will support up to 200 pounds. Considering its design and size, this is a great option that allows you to lift the laptop on its side when paired with an external monitor, giving you a nice two-screen setup. The laptop riser takes up little space on your desk, whether you’re working directly on your laptop or tilting it to the side to work on a separate monitor. It’s more metal than wood, but it looks stylish and has a felt pad for resting your laptop. It measures 10.5 inches wide and fits comfortably on a 13-inch MacBook. It is composed of walnut, oak, and maple. There are also black walnuts, but they are not on sale.
Grovemade’s desk shelves come in four sizes, from 18.5 inches (small) to 58 inches (extra large), and include a small storage compartment for a tablet or laptop. There’s a desk tray add-on that turns that compartment into an organized Merino wool-lined drawer, but it costs $144 more. Priced at $192 is the walnut model, but oak and maple are cheaper, along with plywood options and colors.
Desk pads keep your desk surface clean and scratch-free. This product has a cork on the bottom to prevent slipping. We tried the extra large version and it included a full desk setup, including a second monitor, but there are four other sizes available as well. It’s designed specifically for the iPad Pro, but is also built to hold most tablets at a 20-degree angle. You can position your tablet vertically or horizontally while working or streaming your favorite shows. There is a hole on the back so you can insert the charger.
