A potential must-play for the Giants-Steelers game.

Quarterback Daniel Jones has slipped over the past two games as the Giants’ offense has suffered red zone failure after red zone failure. He’ll be in trouble again in this game as he faces a Steelers defense that has allowed the fifth-lowest fantasy points (FPS) to quarterbacks this season.

Jones ranks 21st among NFL quarterbacks this season. This isn’t a complete disaster, but if the Giants can’t protect him in this game (he was sacked seven times last week against the Eagles), it’s not a smart play for him.

Russell Wilson took over the reins from Justin Fields last week after Fields went 4-2 as the Steelers’ starter in his first six games. Coach Mike Tomlin wanted to start the vertical passing game, and Wilson responded with 24.3 FPS. This is the third highest among QBs in Week 7, behind Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield.

The Giants have been quite generous against quarterbacks this season (23rd), so Wilson will be in many lineups this week.
