The New York Jets desperately need a win after Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, and at 2-6, they are in serious danger of being eliminated from playoff contention.

The good news for them is that they can vent their frustrations soon, as their next game is on Thursday against the undermanned Houston Texans.

Rodgers admitted that if his team wins, playing on Thursday will help mentally but be tough on the body.

The Jets have a lot of problems right now. Rodgers wasn’t a star three or four years ago. Especially after he tore his Achilles tendon on his first offensive series against the team in Week 1 last season.

Their defense, once considered one of the NFL’s best, has holes, their running game is poor, and wide receiver Davante Adams, who was supposed to give them a boost when he arrived in a recent trade, hasn’t made it. Big impact.

Through eight games, Rodgers has completed just 61.6% of his passes for 1,896 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The good news for New York is that their schedule is relatively manageable for the rest of the year, with only two games remaining against teams currently over .500.

But New York didn’t give fans much confidence that they could win a game against a team that was inferior to them on paper.
