The third match of the 2024 T20 World Cup saw an exciting clash between India and Afghanistan. Spectators experienced an exciting match between the two teams. In that match, India recorded a 47-run win. Afghanistan, on the other hand, has set an unwanted record. For the second time in a T20 World Cup, all 10 batsmen were out.

The batting line struggled in the second inning. While opening the innings, Hazratullh Zazai was dismissed for giving up two runs. Ibrahim Zadran was dismissed for 8 runs off 11 balls. Gulbadin Naib added 17 points. Azmatullah Omarzai and Najibullah Zadran scored 26 and 19 points. They did it all in 134 runs.

Afghanistan’s unwanted records:

In this game, Afghanistan struggled especially in the second inning. In the face of India’s bowling brilliance, Afghanistan’s effort fell short. On one side, the bowlers had the upper hand and the fielders made the most of their opportunities. Afghanistan’s batting line-up faced an unwanted feat as all 10 batsmen were caught. This rare incident first occurred in the 2022 match against England in Perth and was repeated in the 2024 match against India in Bridgetown.

In 2022, they faced England in Perth, but were unable to overpower their opponents and were all out with 112 runs. Ibrahim Zadran scored 32 runs, his highest score in that innings. This time too, an unwanted scenario occurred as they scored 134 runs against India. With that loss, the undefeated stake was broken. In their next match, they will face Australia and Bangladesh. In that match, they will work hard to show their dominance.
