The 2022 All-WNBA Team is here! As usual, this season for the W’s has been filled with amazing basketball and amazing stories. From legends Sue Bird and Sylvia Fowles competing in their final seasons in the WNBA to explosive young stars across the league, the W’s talent is plentiful. This year’s All-WNBA team is comprised of the best of the best, the top 10 players in the league, regardless of position, as voted on by sportswriters and broadcasters across the country.

2022 All-WNBA First Team:

  • Aja Wilson, Las Vegas Aces
  • Briana Stewart, seattle storm
  • kelsey Plum, Las Vegas Aces
  • Skylar Diggins-Smith, phoenix mercury
  • candice Parker, chicago sky

A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart were unanimously selected to lead the first team. A’ja Wilson added All-WNBA selections to her MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards. She averaged 19.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game this season.

The first team includes Wilson’s teammates Kelsey Plum, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Candace Parker. Plum earned her first All-WNBA honors, while Parker earned her seventh All-WNBA selection, tying her with Tamika Catchings and Lauren Jackson for the third-most First Team appearances ever.

2022 All-WNBA Second Team:

  • alyssa Thomas, connecticut line
  • Sabrina Ionescu, new york liberty
  • Sylvia Fowles, Minnesota Lynx
  • Neka Ogwumike; Los Angeles Sparks
  • Jonkel Jones, connecticut line

With her second team selection, Sabrina Ionescu made her first All-WNBA team in just her second full season with the W. To cap off her iconic career, Sylvia Fowles earned her eighth All-WNBA honors.

A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum of the Las Vegas Aces and Alyssa Thomas and Jonquel Jones of the Connecticut Sun continue to compete for the WNBA championship. Tune in for Game 4 on Sunday, September 18th at 4pm ET.
