AMG Critical Materials has successfully opened Europe’s first lithium hydroxide refinery in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany.
AMG Lithium BV, which oversees AMG’s entire lithium operations, started producing battery-grade lithium hydroxide from the first of five modules planned at the facility on Wednesday (September 18).
The annual production capacity of one module is 20,000 tons
