The veteran referee, Anil Chaudhary, decided to retire from IPL and international crickets just before the upcoming Indian Premier League season. Chaudhary is a name established by the Indian referee circle and has been taller over the years.

He has been in many international competitions and has been a regular function in IPL for the last few years. Anil Chaudhary began his referee in international crickets in the T20I between India and Australia in 2013 in Rajkot.

However, it took almost eight years to run in the test game. The first test game as a referee was India and the British match in Chennai in 2021. He continued to test 12 times.

Anil Chaudhary retires from IPL and International Cricket

According to TOI, ANIL Chaudhary retired from IPL and International CRICKET after he was recently 60 years old. He now has changed his job to a commentator and sometimes has a bad smell in the Hindi panel in the commentary panel of Haryanvi Feed of IPL 2025.

He will also focus on referees in various T20 leagues around the world in the UAE and the United States. Therefore, he will play a double role from now on and will serve as a referee and commentator.

Chaudhary has opened his new job during his conversation with PTI and has already been commented on for the last few months. He also talked about his view of the game with a different referee with Cricket.

Chaudhary said, “I have been mentioned for the last three to four months, so I was already in the transition stage, and I also teach referees and commentary on the online platform.

“As a referee, I played about 15 games a season, and I will play more than 50 (game). In the broadcast, all cricket players have different perspectives about the game because they see the game in their own way.”

Chaudhary has been an international referee for more than 12 years and has started a lot of IPL games. He also worked as a referee at the Asian Cup Final 2022 and five Ranji Trophy Finals.

He also talked about the situation of the Indian referee and insisted that he was being too stressed by focusing on book languages ​​rather than common sense.

Chaudhary said, “We are under a lot of stress in the field, sometimes the referee is not eaten properly.

“Some people always quote the law and get too technically to get the best way to approach the referee. The referee who depends on the Bookish Knowledge is harming the game.”

Anil Chaudhary was enacted in 12 tests, 49 ODIs and 64 T20is. He worked for 12 years in an international cricket but could not head to the ICC elite panel. Nitin Menon is the only Indian referee since 2020.

Chaudhary also retires with the most experienced referee in IPL history. He played 226 games in IPL and played 131 games in the field referee. In addition, he is the only referee in five RANJI finals.

The 60 -year -old boy was also the only Indian who led the Asian Cup finals, and in 2022, he played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 2022.
