Manchester United superstar Marcus Rashford is set to hit the headlines ahead of the January transfer window after making a revelation about his future.

His recent comments and the fact that manager Ruben Amorim dropped him for the Manchester derby at the weekend appear to suggest a move is very likely, whether in January or next summer.

There have been talks of a move to Spain, but the United ten’s hefty salary and the Catalan giants’ financial difficulties have ruled out Barcelona’s long-time followers.

Atletico want to loan Rashford

TBR soccer They have now claimed that Atletico Madrid are open to a surprise loan approach for the Englishman, but it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will accept this.

The England international would love to play in La Liga and a move to Real Madrid or Barca would please him, but neither giants are currently interested in the Manchester United forward.

Will INEOS accept it?

The report also noted that the 27-year-old has received transfer offers from the likes of Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce, but Arsenal and Chelsea have no plans to follow the United academy graduate.

Either way, INEOS would prefer to move him to an overseas club via a straight sale in order to recoup a sizeable fee that would be seen as a pure profit due to the forward’s domestic development.

but, TBR does not say whether the approach will take place in January or next summer, nor does it include details on whether and for how much the initial loan offer will include a purchase option or obligation.

Rashford’s current Manchester United contract runs until 2028 and his current market value is 55 million euros According to transfer market.

The player’s comments make it clear that a separation is the best outcome for both parties, but United must negotiate on their own terms rather than agreeing to a discounted sale or simple loan.
