Your support will help us tell the story
Independence, from reproductive rights to climate change, has a basis for the development of stories. Whether we investigate the finance of ELON Musk’s Pro-Trump PAC, produce the latest documentary ‘The Word’, we know how important it is to parse the facts in the message, whether American women are fighting for American women fighting for reproductive rights.
At such an important moment in American history, we need a reporter on the ground. Through donations, we can continue to send journalists to talk to both sides of the story.
Independence is trusted by Americans overall political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news media, we choose to see and analyze Americans in Paywalls. We think that everyone should be able to use quality journalism.

As Australia’s southeastern coastal corrections, people are rare in tropical cyclones, stirping up to Queensland and calling for two weeks of warning.
ALFRED, classified as a category 1 system on Monday, is being strengthened on the Queensland coast and is expected to be one of the most destructive places in the region for decades.
Cyclones are expected to be strengthened to the morning category 2 system, which is a Tuesday. It landed between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast between Thursday or Friday early Friday.
If Alfred creates land as expected, it will be the first cyclone to directly affect Brisbane after Nancy in 1990.
According to the Australian Meteorological Agency, Alfred is about 450 km northeast of Brisbane and moves southwest to 20 kmph.
From the Sandicape South to the graph turns, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Byron Bay, the community is in the clock zone, and it is urging millions of people across Queensland and New South Wales to prepare for the worst.
Queensland is on the path of cyclones, but New South Wales is expected to experience Gale Force wind for the next two days.
Alfred has a dangerous condition in southeastern Queensland and northern NSW. Senior Meteorologist Laura Buchan said, “We are especially expecting very hard along the coast. “Strong winds and large waves can also create dangerous surf conditions and see coastal erosion.
Steven Bernasconi, the Meteorological Agency’s Hazard PreparenNess administrator, said this prediction is “unusual.” “We often do not have tropical cyclone watches and warnings in the NSW jurisdiction.”
Forecasts show that potential rainfall is 300-600 mm and some areas can get up to 700mm. The wind blast is expected to exceed 120 kmph, and is accompanied by large waves that can lead to coastal erosion and floods.
The Queensland Premier David Crisis (David Crisafulli) urged residents to “prepare” and prepare “canned food and bottled water.” “It is important for people to take the event seriously and keep the warning up to date.”
“We are dealing with a very population of a country, which has not seen cyclones for many years. It is actually getting closer to the coast for decades.”
Authorities in areas where floods are likely to occur have announced evacuation warnings, especially in the lowlands, before the cyclone arrives.
The main disaster coordinator, Shane Chelepy, has left the Brisbane East Island community now or warned that it will be “too late.”
The authorities have stopped all the Brisburn’s Citycat and Ferry services until they were further notified and people warned to avoid unnecessary travel.
