Washington DC – Today we’re joined by Rahna Epting, Executive Director of MoveOn Political Action. CNN News Central With ~ Ben & Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield We discuss MoveOn’s new Scoop the Vote tour, which kicked off Monday in Philadelphia to kick off early voting. The Scoop the Vote tour is a unique initiative that aims to encourage voter participation through a series of events featuring free ice cream and special guests.

In the segment, Cohen indulges in a limited-edition pint of homemade ice cream that he and Greenfield created and signed for the tour in honor of Kamala Harris. You can obtain “Kamala’s Coconut Jubilee”. ScoopTheVote.com.

Epting emphasized that the Scoop the Vote tour will travel to key swing states and districts, stopping in more than 20 cities including Ann Arbor, Madison, Phoenix and Las Vegas. During the tour, MoveOn will encourage attendees to make a voting plan by November 5, show voters how they can help their friends and family vote, serve a variety of election-themed ice cream flavors and engage with the community to encourage voter registration and turnout.
