Birch is the same product made by Helix, but the Birch line is environmentally friendly and produces the best organic mattresses on the market. Birch is having a 25% off sale. Get 2 free pillows with your mattress purchase (use code LDW25 at checkout). Similar to the sales Birch had on July 4th and Memorial Day, but still a good deal. But if you want a better deal, head to the furniture store. Raymour & Flannigan is also having a sale. And right now, Birch’s Luxe Natural mattress is on sale for $200 less than Birch’s, but they’re both selling for the same price as the cheaper Birch Natural.
avocado
Avocado makes our favorite organic mattresses, and the company is having a sale for up to 20% off Labor Day. The mattress we recommend is currently 15% off, but that’s only $100 off the regular price. That’s because Avocado often has 10% off. This is a little better than what we usually find, and it’s in line with what we’ve seen during other big deals, like Memorial Day.

Leesa has been making fantastic mattresses for years, and they tend to always be our #2 mattress recommendation. The Leesa Sapira Hybrid has been our #2 mattress for years, and it’s a great mattress for the price (before the Labor Day sale!). The new Leesa Sapira Chill recently took that spot with its fantastic cooling cover. The sale hasn’t been great so far, but it does include two free pillows.
Casper
Casper is a pretty big name in the mattress-in-a-box world. The brand recently revamped their entire mattress line, and their new base mattress, The One, is now our favorite all-foam mattress. It’s already a very affordable mattress, but it’s still on sale for Labor Day, so there’s a slight discount. It usually sells for under $900, but it’s currently on sale for $800.
Other Labor Day Mattress Sales
These sales aren’t as good as the ones above, but they are often found throughout the year. Still, they’re a decent price that I would generally recommend for buying this mattress, even if they’re not the best discount in town. As we get closer to Labor Day, I’ll update this guide if there are any changes that could make this sale better (or worse!).

Brooklyn Bedding
I recently switched to plank style mattresses after trying Brooklyn Bedding’s Plank Firm Natural mattress. However, we like a few other firm mattresses from Brooklyn Bedding, all of which are currently on sale for 25% off with the code LABORDAY25. The code will be automatically applied when you add the mattress to your cart. This is not a great sale. They usually sell mattresses at this price. I would still recommend buying them at this price.
bear
Bear makes our favorite side sleeper mattress, the Bear Elite. Bear is currently offering up to 35% off, but the $1,499 price tag is pretty standard, so it’s not a particularly exciting deal. Still, it’s a better deal than the occasional higher price tag.
purple
If you’re a hot sleeper, start shopping. We think Purple makes the best cooling mattress. Purple’s site has up to $500 off their Restore line, but the mattress we recommend is only $300 off. And we often see it for $300 off. Still, if you want to sleep cool at night, this is a great mattress.
