Bluey Minisode: Mini Review

MONews
4 Min Read

They are here! Bluey The mini-episodes are out, and as promised, they’re very mini. The microdoses of the Hiller family’s antics are comprised of seven bite-sized episodes that are just a few minutes long, and in fact, not enough to hold you over until the next actual episode drops. You can play them individually on the platform, or you can play “Episode 8,” a compilation of all the episodes on Disney+.

Burger Dog: This burger dog song It’s dangerous. It’s a cruel and comical earworm plague that won’t leave your brain. It’ll follow you around like Bandit wherever you go. It’s his justification for lying to Bingo and Bluey about the phone being dead. It’ll also make you want a burger.

Bingo 3000: Bandit realizes that his child is playing with a broken android toy. Short and sweet.

Muffin Unboxing: We support the influencer queen. Muffin is the one we all need to remember to pack our toys and put batteries in. I share her passion when it comes to social media. This piece will create a lot of relatable memes of our favorite hypersensitive rage healers.

letter: Bluey and Bingo took a walk down memory lane with their grandmother. They read letters Bandit wrote when he was a child, in which he said, “I wasn’t a very good speller.” As someone who keeps these kinds of letters for my children, it’s really funny to see Bandit get scolded by his own children. I can’t wait for my turn.

hungry: Bandit gets hungry and decides to eat his pups. It’s just a gag, he pretends to eat Bluey. The kids don’t get along with Bandit so they end up throwing up. It’s just stupid.

3 pigs: Bandit tells the story of the three pigs to children, and the children make up their own stories. This is how storytelling collaboration and imagination grow, and that’s why we all love these characters. And I really I want longer episodes.

animal: Chili and Bingo sit on a park bench and tell a funny story about creepy bugs and mammals. It’s so cute and cozy and has a nice snuggle and soothing mama vibe to it. I wish I was that little and could be held in my mom’s arms again.

Want more? The second batch of mini-sodes will be released later this year, with the final batch coming sometime in 2025. In the meantime, you can catch up on: Bluey On Disney+.
