Kaitlyn Clark and the Indiana Fever may be just starting to figure things out. After a slow start to the season, the Fever, led by Clarke’s incredible performance, has started to make some noise around the WNBA.

After a win over the league’s best team, the New York Liberty, Kaitlyn Clarke Triple Double Indiana fever has persisted steadily for the past several years. ESPN WNBA Power Rankings.

With a record of 9-13, the Fever is the seventh seed in the playoffs, one game ahead of the Chicago Sky and Angel Lee’s, and sits sixth in the power rankings.

The Fever held the Aces until the fourth quarter on Tuesday, but lost 88-69 in front of more than 20,000 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Back home on Saturday in front of a sold-out crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever pulled off their most impressive win to date, an 83-78 victory over a Liberty team they have already beaten three times this season. Clark’s triple-double: 19 points, 13 assists, 12 rebounds. Indiana plays its first game of 2024 this week, against the Lynx, the closest team to Clark’s hometown of West Des Moines, Iowa. – Michael Boffel, ESPN

This week the Fever play three games in five days, which is sure to test their stamina. The Fever struggled early in the season, as the first wave of games gave them minimal rest. It will be a big test to see if they figure out the short break this week.

The first is a home game against the Washington Mystics (5-17) on July 10 and the Phoenix Mercury (11-10) on July 12. The week concludes with a Northern Test game against the Minnesota Lynx (15-6) on July 14, which is expected to see a lot of players. Iowa Fans.
