Real Madrid suffered another injury today with the news that midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will be out for up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The France international limped off last night’s 2-0 Champions League loss to Liverpool, clutching the back of his left leg and is currently on the sidelines.

Madrid’s statement reads: “Today, after an examination of our player Eduardo Camavinga by the club’s medical department, he was diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris muscle of his left leg. Evolution is pending.”

Leading Spanish newspaper AS reported that the injury could rule Camavinga out for up to five games, including the Champions League match against Atalanta, and he faces a race against time to feature in the Intercontinental Cup final on December 18. .

It is an even bigger blow to Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is already missing Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Junior, Eder Militao, Aurelien Chouameni, Rodrigo and David Alaba.
