Canada and Japan announce host cities for Davis Cup qualifiers

The 2025 Davis Cup season will bring us the Montreal Canadiens of Tennis.

2022 Davis Cup champions Canada and Japan each announced the host cities for the 2025 Davis Cup qualifiers.

Japan v England

The Japan Tennis Association has announced that the first round of the 2025 Davis Cup qualifiers against Great Britain will be played at the Bourbon Beans Dome in Mickey City.

The two teams, who have previously met twice in the Davis Cup, will meet from January 31 to February 1, 2025, as they look to advance to the second qualifying round in September.

England have won both of their previous matches against Japan, but this will be the first meeting between the two countries on Japanese soil.

The winner of this tie will have a chance to advance to the quarter-finals in Bologna, where they will play a qualifier between Germany and Israel in September.

Canada vs Hungary

Tennis Canada has confirmed that the opening qualifier against Hungary will be played at Montreal’s IGA Stadium on February 1-2, 2025.

Montreal will host the Davis Cup tournament for the second year in a row, after hosting Canada’s qualifier against Korea last year.
