Journalist Sophie Monk is the latest star to admit she is a tennis fan on the Celebrity Match series.

During the Celebrity Match series, Monk revealed that he had a newfound respect for tennis.
Tell us about your tennis experience. Do you play?
Actually, I was very good at Wii Tennis (Nintendo). So I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to be a champion.’ I bought clothes to go and play, but I couldn’t hit a single ball. It looked easy.
What is your earliest memory of tennis?
I used to think Anna Kournikova was really cool. I remember on the cover of something, she was wearing a red tennis skirt and holding a racket like a guitar. She was so hot.
Do you remember the first professional tennis match you saw live?
This happened during the Australian Open last year. I went to the women’s final (between Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina) and that was my first time. It’s amazing to see. I got so emotional that I ended up crying.
What caused you to feel the emotion?
I think it was exactly that kind of atmosphere. I could feel how hard the players worked and how focused and energetic they were. It was so intense.

Why is the Australian Open a great event to attend?
It’s really cool and cool to be a part of it. I don’t think anyone gets bored watching tennis, even if they don’t know much about tennis. I like their costumes too. The girls are wearing the cutest outfits.
With Andy Lee at the Australian Open <더 헌드레드>I met many of the best players while filming. Do you have a favorite player?
I really like Andy Murray. He has a really great sense of humor. Nick Kyrgios was pretty funny too. He was really confident and looked really cool.
