Leaving CNN may be the best thing that ever happened to Chris Cuomo. It allowed him to tell the truth sometimes.
He doesn’t always get things right, but he deserves credit for his recent rant in which he went after the left for downplaying the first attempt to assassinate Trump with a bullet in the ear. Cuomo also talked about this last September.
Cuomo correctly pointed out that if this had happened to Harris, the left would have lost their minds.

And that was a perfect example of that. That situation? Well, I think it was just a teleprompter. If you didn’t want the person to die, you wouldn’t judge it that way. How messed up is that? You wish he had died? You ignored him for being shot. It was disgusting. And I felt some satisfaction in the fact that I was punished politically because there was no room for that. He may have been – he is not any kind of standard of virtue. great. And he still beat you.

Get credit when it is due. Cuomo almost got this right, even though he unfairly disparaged Trump’s virtues.
