Coco Gauff has revealed her last-minute selection to play doubles at the French Open.

Coco Gauff, on the verge of a new world No. 2 ranking, did not lose her spark despite suffering a heavy defeat in the French Open singles tournament. She just casually decided to win the doubles tournament with Katerina Siniakova. She made her decision two days before the event.

Coco Gauff continues to be one of the most impressive players in all of tennis, and her recent achievements have proven why she is one of the best. Coco did not have the greatest performance in singles competition at the French Open. Although she made it to the final four, she suffered a heartbreaking loss to Iga Swiatek in straight sets. Nonetheless, she still had a doubles tournament to look forward to.

Not only did Coco make it to the championships, she and Katerina Siniakova won it all. The best part might not even have been theirs Tournament Operations, It was really impressive. Gauff stated that he had no plans to compete in the doubles tournament. Two days before the game she decided to give it a try with Katerina. wow.

Coco told the French Open crowd after the match:

“First of all, I would like to thank Katerina for playing with me. We decided to play together two days before the tournament started. It was very last minute. I wasn’t planning on making a double play. So, thank you for asking me to play.”
