Tim Dillon criticized the city of Los Angeles for its mishandling of the California fires in a podcast this week, citing the fact that the city was completely unprepared and even lacked water in its fire hydrants.
Dillon is often very cynical in his views on matters, but he seemed serious about this one.
He noted that large parts of Los Angeles have been completely wiped out, with fires still burning in some areas.
fox news Reported:
Podcaster Tim Dillon called the government’s response to the LA fires “completely, woefully unprepared.”
Los Angeles-based comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon criticized the government’s handling of the wildfires during Monday’s episode of “The Tim Dillon Show.”
“The whole city is gone. There was no water in the hydrant. No one cleared these brush, no one did a controlled burn, no one prepared these areas,” Dillon said. He added that these measures were ignored because “we didn’t want to upset the fish.”
President-elect Donald Trump caused a firestorm last week when he criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom for choosing to “protect essentially useless fish” over the water needs of Californians. This isn’t the first time Trump has criticized Newsom on the issue, criticizing him ahead of the 2024 election in an interview with Joe Rogan last October.

Tim Dillon: Government completely botched response to LA wildfires
“The whole city is gone.
There was no water in the hydrant. No one put away their brushes, no controlled burns, nothing.

At another point, Dillon speculated that the fire may have been an act of terrorism. see:

The point Dillon is making here may be a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it makes perfect sense. Isn’t that right?
