Conor Bradley impressed for Northern Ireland against Belarus.

Conor Bradley has earned praise during his international career with the Northern Ireland national team.

The 21-year-old has made six appearances for Liverpool this season, amassing just 169 minutes of playing time. That’s understandable, of course, considering he’s competing for playing time with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Nonetheless, the academy graduate has already proven he can replace the Reds’ vice-captain when needed.

The defender scored an impressive seven goals in 23 appearances during Jurgen Klopp’s final season last season.

Michael O’Connor was quick to praise the Northern Ireland captain ahead of the Green and White Army’s 0-0 draw with Belarus.

“I don’t think Conor Bradley will be a vocal captain, but the way he plays I think he will set the standard and the boys will follow him.” The former Crew star was quoted as saying: BBC Sports.

John O’Neill has been impressed by Conor Bradley and highlighted the footballer’s high-quality distribution in recent international matches.

“I think Trai Hume and Conor Bradley are the best in terms of distribution.” The former Northern Ireland defender said: BBC Radio Ulster (via BBC Sports).

The 66-year-old continued: “It was a brilliant ball from Bradley in the right corner, but unfortunately he threw it away again. [Jamie Reid] I can’t seem to get it out from under his feet!”

Conor Bradley has a bright future at Liverpool

We can be confident that Liverpool have considerable quality at right-back due to the availability of young full-back and team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Bradley’s recent performance in Northern Ireland certainly suggests this. The young defender Rating 7.4/10 sofa score A scoreless out for Michael O’Neill’s side after gathering two key passes to create one big chance and winning 10/19 of his competitive duels.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the vice-captain will be retained, whose current term expires in the summer of 2025. Of course, efforts to extend are happening behind the scenes. This is the contract for our No. 66.

Working under the assumption that we can convince the 26-year-old to use the new term, the future of the right-back position will be firmly secured.
