Hamilton sees red
The ‘Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari’ rumour has been around for years now, so much so that it’s become a ‘wolf boy’ moment for everyone in the F1 media. So when it started this year, I was as cynical and cautious as I am every year, until it became clear that this wasn’t a training exercise!
Somewhat inevitably, details of Hamilton’s appearance in red began to trickle out into the press before the shocking official news was released.
As with everything Sir Lewis related, the decision proved controversial, sparking all sorts of debates as to whether people thought it was a good decision or not. Hamilton joined only the third team in his illustrious career.
