What do you look forward to each day? In early 2021, during quarantine, my friends and I challenged ourselves to walk 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day. I quickly became a fan of walking. People watching, cute dogs, clearing my mind, and feeling the fresh air on my face. As I said, feeling good is all you need to do is walk. Sometimes I go for a walk in less comfortable clothes (tight jeans, dresses), but ideally I put on comfortable, soft clothes before I leave the house. Recently, Matching setso crop sweatshirt and shorts. How pretty is the pale blue?

I have lived in New York for 23 years, so walking and biking have always been a part of my daily life. But I was daunted by the thought of hitting a whopping 12,000 steps! But after the first week, I found myself craving long walks. My friend Gisela is also a dedicated walker, and she once woke up and said, “I feel like I have a walking trail inside me.” I loved that expression.

I try to feel comfortable, but still stay together. This lightweight trench coat Perfect for spring and fall days. (You can also dress it up with: Miniskirt or loose pants.) One of my absolute favorite routes is this: Brooklyn Promenade. The view of the Manhattan skyline is breathtaking, especially at sunset. And you can often see people getting engaged. There are also beautiful brownstones along the way. It’s also really fun to see people often open their curtains and look at the art.

Everyone looks good in a half-zip. That’s one of my strongest beliefs! I This white thing Great for going to the park with the boys and sitting and relaxing with friends in the evening. Looks great with jeans and leggings and is the perfect travel piece for long distance travel.
