Dayglo Presents Names Jesse Lauter Head of Production and Media

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Peter Shapiro’s Dayglo Presents has announced the appointment of renowned filmmaker and music producer Jesse Lauter as Head of Production and Media.

In the newly created position, Lauter will oversee the creative and technical aspects of video and audio production for Shapiro properties, including the Capitol Theatre, Brooklyn Bowl (Williamsburg, Las Vegas, Nashville and Philadelphia), and the newly added Bearsville Theatre. There are two others currently in development.

A graduate of New York University’s Clive Davis Institute, Lauter entered the industry as a producer/engineer/mixer, working in the studio with artists including Ben Harper, Stephen Stills & Judy Collins, The Low Anthem, and Lenny Kaye. Among them.

His accomplishments include serving as executive producer of Bob Dylan In The 80s: Volume One for ATO Records and producer of Sincerely, L. Cohen: A Live Celebration of Leonard Cohen, a tribute concert and live album featuring Richard Thompson and Josh Ritter . Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Cassandra Jenkins, Low Cut Connie, and more.

Most recently, he served as Director of Production at Manhattan’s Central Synagogue, where he oversaw the launch of its live streaming program over the past decade, making it the most-watched Jewish service broadcast in the world. He has also produced concerts and events at renowned New York venues, including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall.
