Madison De La Garza is mourning the loss of her first child.

On Oct. 26, the actress, best known for her role on Desperate Housewives and as Demi Lovato’s younger sister, wrote on Instagram that her and boyfriend Ryan Mitchell’s baby boy had passed away after undergoing an emergency C-section a month earlier.

This is really, really sad.

“On the evening of September 27, Ryan and I held our daughter for the first and last time following an emergency C-section.” The 22-year-old addressed his followers by his newborn baby’s name, adding:

“Thank you Xiomara for making us the most perfect angel parents in heaven. “Mom and Dad love you.”

Lovato’s sister did not share any other details.

And we are here to strongly urge everyone to respect their privacy during these nightmarish times.

Meanwhile, Lovato shared her sister’s post on her Instagram Story.

“Saying goodbye to my beautiful and perfect niece Xiomara,” the 32-year-old wrote. “I’m so thankful I got to hug you. I will be your aunt forever. I love you so much @maddelagarza.”

I added a star to the comment on Madison’s message.

I love you so much. An angel in every sense of the word. I will be your aunt forever.

Elsewhere, the siblings’ older sister, Dallas Lovato, 36, wrote a poem about her nephew and the tragic loss.

She posted a photo with the words, “Daughter Xiomara, I miss you every day / I’ll take good care of you, mom, so you can fly.”

“Guard us, guide us, give us little signs/One day we will come to see you, but it will take some time/Not a day will go by without you in our hearts/We will have more time before then. I wish we were together. You had to leave.”

Dallas continued:

“So have fun in this new world we can’t see / ‘Cause with every breath you take, you’ll breathe.”

Elsewhere, Lovato’s fiancé commented: “I love you so much. Rest in peace baby angel Xiomara.”

Madison, the youngest of Demi’s three sisters, announced on Instagram early last month that she was pregnant with her first child, due in October.

De La Garza captioned the post, “Oh Ryan, how much I love you.” “Thank you for making all my dreams come true. ♥️Baby Mitchell 10.24.”

We send our condolences to De La Garza, Lovato and the entire family. May Xiomara rest in peace.
