President Bill Clinton recently attracted attention by suggesting the criteria for electing the first female president of the United States.

He believes it is unlikely that his party, the Democratic Party, will produce its first female commander-in-chief, despite several attempts so far.

In a recent interview with CBS’ Tracy Smith, Clinton was asked if she thought America was not ready for a female president. Because, you know, the loss of the incredibly undeserving Kamala Harris can only be explained by sexism. Or something.

“Maybe.” The former president answered.

Things got a little more interesting when Clinton revealed that one political party may be better prepared to elect a woman than another.

Clinton said a Republican woman had the best chance of becoming the first president.

When pressed further on the issue, Clinton suggested that a “cultural battle” was making it difficult for women to get elected. But he added that it would be easier for certain political parties to address the issue.

“Well, I think this whole cultural battle that we’re fighting, in some ways, makes it harder for women to run for office,” he said.

“So you think it has more to do with partying than gender?” Smith asked.

“no.” Clinton answered. “Although I think it would probably be easier for a conservative Republican woman to win.”

His comments seem to be some sort of acknowledgment that the strange culture war going on on the left is causing, for example, the average woman to lose her appeal.

He added, “I still think there will be a female president sooner or later.”

Consider the Source

It is important to consider the source of this prediction. He is a man who looks at women through a certain prism. And lest you think that it has dulled with age, think again.

Clinton is I’m almost drooling. About former Arizona Senate Republican candidate Kari Lake. He praised Lake as “physically attractive” and wondered what she would look like “prostrate before her master.”

No, I’m not kidding.

Nonetheless, Clinton appears to be onto something. The first female president is much more likely to come from the Republican Party than from a party that doesn’t even know what a woman is, or even one that likes to have men pretend to be women.
