CAM Hayward Ticket Giveaway
It’s that time of year again. No, it’s not the holidays. It’s time to vote for the Pro Bowl. At this point, the Pro Bowl has degenerated into a kind of popularity contest. However, it is still important because some players may receive bonuses if they make the Pro Bowl. For others, being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame may add to their legacy. Cam Heyward is taking an interesting approach to getting votes.
As he said on Twitter: Hayward is running a contest to give away two tickets to the next home game on December 8th. To enter, fans must reply to Heyward’s post, including a screenshot of Heyward’s podcast subscription confirmation or a screenshot of the Pro Bowl vote for Heyward on the NFL website. Please apply to participate if you are able, and we hope it will help us continue Heyward’s legacy.
Recollections of Calvin Austin III
Calvin Austin III has stepped up for the Steelers this year. When the year opened, they did not have a defined No. 2 wide receiver. Austin has done a remarkable job. His stats aren’t amazing, but he developed a good relationship with Russell Wilson. It seems like a dream come true for him.
After defeating the Cincinnati Bengals Austin posted this on Instagram To post his recollections of wearing Wilson’s uniform as a child. It’s funny because it shows how long Wilson has been in the league. Austin is doing a great job of turning childhood dreams into reality.
Congratulations to Tomlin and Russ
The Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals convincingly and their offense carried them to victory. This helped wash down more of the narrative surrounding Russell Wilson. He came out and sparked the Bengals, proving he still has a lot left in the tank. Wilson and Mike Tomlin looked very happy after the win.
As can be seen on 93.7 The Fan’s Twitter, Tomlin and Wilson shared a hug after the game. Tomlin also ended the celebration by kissing Wilson’s head. This shows how close the two are and why Wilson is so successful in Pittsburgh. The two have the Steelers rolling and hopefully they can keep this momentum going.
