Steelers Depot daily segment. This may not require a full article, but it’s a quick hit of some Pittsburgh Steelers related stories that are worth mentioning and passing on to you.

Warehouse after dark on January 13th.

The cowboys take McCarthy for a walk.

The last time the Steelers participated in the Super Bowl, they lost to the Green Bay Packers. Mike McCarthy was their head coach and has been with the Dallas Cowboys for the past few seasons. Some people even wanted the Steelers to trade Mike Tomlin for McCarthy. That doesn’t seem to be an option anymore.

According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero On Twitter, the Cowboys allowed McCarthy to leave after the two sides failed to agree on a new contract. There’s no word yet on whether McCarthy will land an NFL job next season.

Ravens WR might not play

Last week, the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Steelers despite their star wide receiver Zay Flowers not playing. Flowers suffered an injury in Week 18, damaging the Ravens’ explosive offense. It wasn’t a problem for the Steelers, but it could be a problem for the Buffalo Bills. Flowers’ condition appears to still be valid.

According to Twitter around the NFL; The Ravens are still waiting to see if Flowers will be available to play this week. It seems uncertain. Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson were enough for the Ravens against the Steelers, but the Bills could present more problems.

Browns OC Candidates

While the Steelers’ season has just ended, other teams are heading into their offseason. The Cleveland Browns are one such team. They are trying to find their next offensive coordinator after firing Ken Dorsey earlier this year. I think I know one more candidate.

like NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport As reported on Twitter, the Browns interviewed New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for the same position. Kubiak, the son of Super Bowl-winning head coach Gary Kubiak, has worked in the NFL since 2013. He is a promising coach. We’ll see if he moves from the NFC South to the AFC North.
