This is the daily segment from Steelers Depot. A quick rundown of some stories related to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They don’t need full articles, but they are key pieces of information that are worth mentioning and passing along to you.

Depot After Dark is on July 16th.

LE’VEON BELL WANT AIYUK

With Brandon Ayyuck officially requesting a trade, Steelers fans are holding their breath to see if Pittsburgh will sign their star receiver. With so many opinions both for and against the move, it’s hard to say what the real outcome will be, but one former Steelers running back seems to believe the move will happen.

Le’Veon Bell took to Twitter today: In a show of faith in Steelers GM Omar Khan after the Aiyuk news broke, Bell said he believes Khan will somehow bring Aiyuk to Pittsburgh. Like many Steelers fans, Bell also seems to believe in the Khan Artist.

Pickens’ Footwork Drills

If the Steelers can’t land Aiyuk, George Pickens will be the center of attention this year. He’s set to be the Steelers’ No. 1 receiver, and while he’s shown impressive competitive catching ability in the past, he’ll need more than that to survive what the NFL throws at him.

He seems to know the attention he will receive. Video posted on 33rd Team’s Twitter, Pickens can be seen working out with fellow receiving threats Calvin Ridley and Kyle Pitts during Elite Week. The drills he does help sharpen his routes as a receiver, helping him become an overall route runner. Pickens will need those skills this year.

Nick Chem, you look strong

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb is one of the best players in the NFL, but unfortunately his career was in jeopardy after suffering a terrible injury last year against the Steelers. This play was like water under the bridge for Chubb, and he is recovering well from it. Recent videos show him looking half human, half amazing.

in A video posted to the Browns’ Twitter page, Originally, Chubb was seen squatting a ton of weight on JOC.Films’ Instagram. The footage was reportedly shot eight months after Chubb’s surgery, which is an impressive recovery rate. He also doesn’t wear any kind of brace on his knee, which shows he could be ready for the season sooner rather than later.
