Roethlisberger in a volleyball game
Ben Roethlisberger is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He helped the Steelers win two Super Bowls for the first time since the 1970s. He will one day be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is now enjoying retirement. I think I’ve become interested in other sports as well.
As can be seen in NCAA Women’s Volleyball Twitter According to the account, Roethlisberger attended a recent game between the University of Oregon and the University of Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger and his kids seem to have become Pitt volleyball fans. It’s nice to see Roethlisberger still interacting with Pittsburgh sports.
The birth of Blitzberg
The Steelers didn’t win a championship in the 1990s, but they didn’t lack for great teams. That era was almost like a resurgence for the Steelers after the dark days of the 1980s. Bill Cowher helped lead the Steelers to a Super Bowl appearance. He strengthened the Steelers’ defense, earning him the nickname Blitzburgh. The Steelers recently put together a great look back at the team.
release date Steelers YouTube Channel Today, A Steelers Story: The Birth of Blitzburgh is a great video that highlights an era of Steelers football that deserves more love. Maybe they didn’t win a championship, but they helped make the Steelers relevant again.
Steelers Name Changemaker
The Steelers have been one of the best teams in the NFL and look like they could be a championship contender. However, just as they achieved good results on the field, they did not neglect to make changes outside the field as well. They recently revealed the winner of the 2024 Steelers Inspire Change Changemaker Award.
As can be seen in Steelers Community Relations Twitter, Caroline Frantz, director of diversity and inclusion for the BSN-AID program at Duquesne University School of Nursing, accepted the award. Winning this award means Frantz will receive a $10,000 donation. She will also be honored during the Christmas Games, so keep an eye out for that.
