After spending eight seasons as an NFL player with the Tennessee Titans, star running back Derrick Henry has a new team for the 2024 season.

He joined the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent and helped the Ravens to an NFL-best record and an AFC Championship Game appearance a year later.

According to NFL on CBS, Henry expressed his admiration for new teammate Lamar Jackson and was impressed with the quarterback’s arm talent.

Jackson had an incredible year, throwing for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns, adding 821 yards and five touchdowns on the ground, winning his second regular season MVP award.

He’s one of the most athletic quarterbacks the league has ever seen, and his passing ability only seems to get better over time.

The Ravens appear to have what it takes to put up a serious challenge against the two-time world champion Kansas City Chiefs, who they lost to in the playoffs last season.

But one big criticism of Jackson is that he can’t win big games.

On the other hand, Henry’s ability to rack up massive yardage could be just what Baltimore needs to overcome its challenges, and it could be just what Jackson needs to silence his critics.

The AFC North division looks black and white, but Baltimore currently looks the strongest in the division, and it would be a surprise to many if Baltimore doesn’t take first place and make it back to the conference championship game.
