Dish Fam Member Dr. Debbie Antonelli Elected to Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame

Debbie Antonelli, one of the most recognizable voices in women’s and college basketball history, is being recognized in a big way this year!

It was recently announced that Antonelli, a respected broadcaster in men’s and women’s college basketball and the WNBA, will be selected as an inductee in 2022. Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

During his career, Antonelli has been called to games for Ohio State women’s basketball, Dayton Flyers men’s basketball, ESPN, CSTV, Westwood One, Fox Sports, Big Ten Network, CBS, and others.

This is not the first time Antonelli has been recognized for her work, as she is a proud 2007 WBCA honoree. Mel Greenberg Media Award. This honor is given to the journalist who best demonstrates a commitment to women’s basketball and has done his best to advance the role of media in promoting the women’s game.

In 2020, Dr. Dish has partnered with Antonelli for the 24 Hours Nothing But Net fundraiser for Special Olympics and Special Children’s Needs. Since launching the annual event in 2019, she has raised more than $400,000 in donations.
