Djurgardens executive Bo Magnus Andersen has confirmed that Roma will soon sign Samuel Dahl.

In an interview SportaliaAnderson was asked about the status of negotiations between Roma and Djurgardens for the 21-year-old left-back.

“I can confirm that I have contacted Roma to talk about Samuel. It is something very specific and they want to sign him. We are in the final stages of negotiations at the moment,” Andersson said.

“Moon? He’s a fantastic player, has a great mentality and has developed a lot with us since we signed him from Örebro about a year ago. So yes, I think it would be a good thing.”

“He is a modern type of footballer, especially as a left-back, with attacking ability. The good thing is that he is not very tall, but he is also very good at defending. I think he is very similar to Philipp Lahm or someone like that.”

“I think he is ready to go to Serie A. I think he has a great foundation, but he will learn a lot quickly because he is a guy who gives 100% in every training session. Roma is a great club with a lot of great players, they will have the opportunity and we are happy about that.”
