Jack Doohan avoided serious injuries with a big collision in the second practice session in the Japanese Grand Prix, which has faced Alpine’s rebuilding major cars.
As Ryo Hirakawa took his place, the Alpine driver missed the FP1 and started the fifth rap of the FP2 when he fell at high speed from turn 1.
