2 Min Read

It was a truly meaningful weekend for our Dr. Dish family!

Juru Holiday, Jack Ravin Skyler Diggins-Smith won an Olympic gold medal for Team USA, continuing the American basketball dominance.

After losing to France in their first group game, Holiday, LaVine and the U.S. men turned things around to beat France 87-82 in the gold medal game.

Holiday, who is making his Olympic debut, won an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks and scored in double figures to help the U.S. win its fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal, its first in 50 years.

Making her Olympic debut, Lavigne had an impact on the Americans throughout the tournament, even capping off the gold medal race with a celebratory between-the-legs slam at the end of the match.

In the women’s event, Diggins-Smith helped the United States win its seventh straight gold medal, easily defeating host nation Japan 90-75.

Already one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all time, Diggins-Smith adds Olympic gold medalist to her endless resume.

We can’t forget #DrDishFam member Luka Doncic, who not only led Slovenia to its first ever Olympic title, but also took the bronze medal before ultimately losing to Australia.

We are so proud of the team at Dr. Dish!
