Artem Chigvintsev has been a fan favorite on “Dancing with the Stars” for many years.
So I was so shocked to hear that he had been arrested on domestic violence charges on August 29th. TMZ.
A Napa County Sheriff’s Office representative told the outlet that officers responded to a domestic violence call at a location in the town of Yountville just before 10 a.m. Thursday. Arrests were made at the scene and there were reportedly injuries.
The victim in this case has asked for complete confidentiality, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
The dancer’s bail was set at $25,000, according to online records, but there was no immediate news on his release.
Additionally, at the time of reporting, it was unclear whether Chigvintsev’s wife, wrestler Niki Garcia, was involved in the altercation.
The investigation is ongoing.

At first, no statement was made by Chigvintsev’s spokesman or Niki’s side.
But detectives who checked her social media noticed that she had been getting a facial in Napa Valley the day before her arrest.
The retired professional wrestler has been married to a dancer since August 2022. In fact, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary the previous Monday.
On their anniversary, there was no sign of trouble, only love for each other. Nikki Posted lyrics Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and a special message to her husband.
“This song is our love story,” she wrote in an Instagram video. “I’ll never forget when I asked Jesus about Artem. Talking to Him and God. My emotions came so fast. Everything felt so fast. And then this song came.”
She concluded: “That’s when I realized I was in love with him and that it was all meant to be.”
To this, Artem wrote: “Happy anniversary, my love. I can’t live my life without you.”
