In exchange for providing just 1,200 square feet of space for Relocalize’s operations, it promises retailers “complete control of the supply chain.” Relocalize claims that as a result, food does not need to be transported long distances, reducing product costs by up to 30%, reducing CO2 emissions by 90% and reducing other operational costs.
