Junior World No. 1 Emerson Jones won the position of Orange Girl of the AMP AMP Billy Jean King Cup Team, and with the best players in the precious Australian traditions, the world -stage experiences and training with the best players.

Emerson Jones, a 16 -year -old, was named Orange Girl of the AMP AMP AMP Billy King Cup Team, and joined the Australian best female Kimberly Birrell to prepare for the 2025 preliminary campaign in Brisbane.

The Orange Girl is a long Australian team tradition to provide a promising young athlete with the team with opportunities to train with the team and to have valuable experiences on the world stage.

In 2024, Jones made his history by becoming the No. 1 ITF World Tennis Tour Junior ranking for more than 25 years following the footsteps of Jelena Dokic, who achieved the same achievements in 1998.

Some of the notable players who have been the Orange Girl for many years have become representatives of Billie Jean King Cup, including Ash Barty, Daria Saville and STORM HUNTER.

Jones said, “It is really honored to be named Orange Girl for the Billie Jean King CUP team in Australia.

“It’s really interesting to have the opportunity to be a member of the team environment, to learn from the best women and to represent Australia at this level.”

Sam Stosur, the team leader, said Jones’s choice reflects her potential and recent achievements.

“Orange girl tradition is unique and special for Australian tennis. It is a wonderful opportunity for young players to be immersed in team culture, ”said Stosur.

“Emerson has a wonderful 2024,,, And we are happy to join the team in Brisbane. She will experience what she needs to compete at the top of the international level and see the passion and pride of representing Australia with green and gold.

Jones joins the team behind Tennis’s outstanding summer and is the world No. 37 Wang Xinyu impressed at the Australian Open.

“It’s a great stepping stone for young players, and Emerson will make the most of this opportunity.”

Jones joined the team in the excellent summer of tennis and impressed at the Australian Open with amazing anger in the Adelaide international debut.

World No. 1 Junior has reached the junior single semi -finals of Melbourne Park for two consecutive years for two consecutive years.

Jones also won the Junior Athlete of the Year Award with a fellow RISING STAR and a 18 -year -old Maya Joint at 2024 NewCombe Medal Australian Tennis Awards.

Australia faces Kazakhstan and Colombia in Pat Rafter Arena from April 10 to 12, and each tie has two single and one doubles. The winners of each group will advance to the Billie Jean King Cup finals in Shenzhen, China, in November.
