The 96-year-old enjoyed a wonderful summer and the start of fall, spending time with his children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going out on the water and eating meals in the weeks and months before suffering his stroke. …the family speaks.
Ethel has 11 children. Kathleen, article and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. …and she’s the former president’s sister-in-law John F. Kennedy.
She was pregnant when RFK was assassinated while running for president in 1968 and did not remarry.
A year after RFK was assassinated, Ethel founded the Robert F. Kennedy civil rights nonprofit in his honor.
