“Even Pep Guardiola will have difficulties in Rome.”

Following last night’s defeat against Fiorentina, Roma’s legendary captain Giuseppe Giannini has weighed in on Trigoria’s difficult situation.

In an interview with Ad Chronos“I’m not inside the club, but I think it’s appropriate in these situations to keep talking to a minimum and train hard,” Giannini said.

“And I think the players themselves are also to blame. Everyone makes mistakes. When things go wrong, the blame has to be distributed equally between different areas: the club, the technical staff and the team.”

“I’m not saying the dressing room is adjusting against Juric, but when things aren’t going well, players definitely have to give something more.”

“So I don’t know whether it’s time for a change or not. Also, as in the case of De Rossi, change is so fast and unpredictable. It was a change no one expected, but I don’t think so because it happened. I don’t know what to say about the possibility of a quick layoff. At this moment, even Guardiola will have a difficult time in Roma.”
