Dear readers, Lady Whistledown is back! Bridgerton season, and this time her own love story (no one needs to know). As stylish as ever, Bridgerton Season 3 It mainly tells the story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, played by Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, as they take their friendship to a new level.

What is Bridgerton season 3 about?

After focusing on Daphne and Anthony Bridgerton in the first and second seasons, the story now follows Colin Bridgerton’s story with the girl next door. Penelope has given Colin a lot, but she’s never been his lover. She’s been his sister’s best friend, the girl next door, his friend, and his crush. It’s no secret to viewers that Penelope has harbored a huge crush on Colin for years, but our girl finally feels ready to move on and get her life back on track. She’s now looking for a husband after her heartbreak last season.

What stole the spotlight?

In addition to Nicola Coughlan getting the highlight that she deserved, Netflix also gave more screen time to the fan service and now very popular Benedict Bridgerton. Benedict Bridgerton has always been one of the fan favorite characters, but he has definitely gained a huge fan base since this season. Luke Thompson’s charm is something that should be studied in college. He seems to be everyone’s new crush and I don’t blame them! The beautifully written dialogue is top notch as usual.

Bridgerton is famous for many reasons, including its orchestral remixes of popular songs. This season, Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’ is in the spotlight, as you wouldn’t expect such an iconic party song to sound so sophisticated. Kudos to the makeup and costume department for carrying out the theme of the show so elegantly. They definitely grabbed the attention and enhanced the characters of the show.

What annoys us in this drama?

The show’s script seems rushed. It lacks the spice, passion, and slow-burn romance that defines it. Bridgerton Story. Colin’s character is not well developed this time. After being sidelined for the past two seasons, this season should have made him a knight in shining armor, but he is rather lacking in character. He tries to help Penelope because he feels guilty for insulting and hurting her. Later, he ruins his chances with a great suitor because he feels jealous of not having her. He acts like a child who wants his toy back as soon as another child starts playing with it. He misses Penelope’s attention because he sees her happy with someone else who wants to marry her. Some might call it ‘true love’, but I think it’s too immature and childish. Bridgerton Character. I have nothing against Luke Newton, but his character development doesn’t help the show.

Aside from the slow pace and lack of a passionate love story, the show seems to have completely forgotten about Daphne and Simon Basset (played by Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page). Anthony and Kate Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley) appear in one episode and aren’t even mentioned in the rest.

Nicola Coughlan – Star of the Show

Nicola Coughlan shines brighter than any star in the sky. Both Nicola and Penelope are role models for body positivity. Young girls and women all over the world can relate to Penelope so much, and seeing her embrace herself, feel comfortable in her own skin, and go through a complete transformation to feel like herself is bound to create positive waves among fans. Unlike the previous two seasons, the third season focuses on other characters as well, potentially creating branches and storylines for the upcoming seasons. But while Nicola Coughlan wears her crown gracefully, no one and nothing shines before her.

Is this season better than the last two?

each Bridgerton The story has a unique charm that keeps our eyes glued to the screen. Some people like season 1, others like season 2, and the rest prefer season 3, but is it better than the last two seasons? Probably not. Nothing can beat season 1! The show focuses on the ‘friends to lovers’ storyline, but it lacks the real essence of romance. No, I’m not talking about spicy, but they’re not serious enough to make us excited. Pauline’s storyline is occasionally exciting, but not as much as the previous seasons. The foundation for the couple has been laid since the first season, but it’s not as strong and passionate as expected.

Bridgerton season 3 part 1 Now available for streaming. Netflix. Part 2 It will be released on June 13th.
