There’s a new Challenge Career mode that lets you compete against other drivers on the leaderboard without having to hit an online lobby for live multiplayer. You’ll be given a series of different “episodes” to complete, where you’ll tackle racing scenarios against the AI, with difficulty settings affecting your score multiplier.
Single player modes include: F1 24 It impressively delivers the same levels as other great sports games such as: MLB The Show, and what you’ll be fighting in orbit is thanks to competitive AI. At lower difficulties it’s not too difficult for new players to blow up the field, but at higher difficulties the AI drivers can pose quite a challenge and behave in realistic ways. That means overtaking and fighting aggressively in the braking zone. You use wheel-to-wheel at tight spots on the track.
The level of customization available within My Team career is a bit lacking compared to other racing games like Gran Turismo, Forza or iRacing. When you start a new team, you have few options for the team logo and surprisingly few choices for the base paint scheme.
