LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Electronic dance music brand fabric has signed a global services deal with digital music company Believe.

The partnership will see fabric join the customer base of Believe’s electronic music brand b:electronic, and as part of the company’s Label and Artist Solutions division, will offer services including expert label management, video and audience development, international editorial and marketing partnerships, and distribution for catalogue and new releases.

The deal includes fabric labels including Fabric Original, Fabric Record and Houndstooth, as well as new brands to be launched in the near future, the companies said.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, fabric will be releasing several special projects this year, including a release from Confidence Man via the iconic “fabric presents” compilation format, releases from Daniel Avery and Dusky via fabric Originals, and the critically acclaimed release from DjRUM via Houndstooth.

Additionally, DJ and producer Laurent Garnier will be joining a special label project later this year, although further details have not yet been announced.

“Partnering with fabric is a landmark moment for b:electronic. We are honored to help amplify fabric’s iconic sound to a global audience. This collaboration combines fabric’s unparalleled heritage in electronic music with our cutting-edge distribution expertise. We are thrilled to drive the next chapter for this legendary brand and ensure their music reaches every corner of the digital world,” said Leigh Morgan, Global Director of b:electronic.

“This partnership presents an exciting opportunity for fabric’s recording division as we navigate the evolution of digital music consumption in 2024, allowing us to continue to grow our existing label imprints while exploring a wider range of artists and accessible musical output, leveraging Believe’s global network and talent, with a focus on the streaming environment,” added Hiroki Beck, fabric’s head of labels.
