Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano has commented on rumors that Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior is set to move to clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to El Chiringuito, Real Madrid received an offer worth more than $550 million for Vinicius Junior from a Saudi Arabian club last August. The All-Whites turned down the offer, but the Saudi Pro League side are determined to test their resolve once again in the coming months.
Fabrizio Romano expects Vinicius Junior to remain at Real Madrid
Romano addressed the rumors surrounding Vinicius Jr.’s future on his YouTube channel. He said (via The Peoples Person):
“Lately I have been getting a lot of messages from some of you like ‘Fabrizio, is it true that he is going to Saudi Arabia, is it true that he is being linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG?’”
“Guys, it is completely normal for clubs around the world to recognize Vinicius. He is a fantastic, crazy player. Then it’s completely normal..”
He added:
“But we can assure you that Vinicius’ links with Chelsea, PSG and Manchester United are not realistic at all at the moment. So there is nothing going on between Vinicius and the European club.”
Vinicius Junior, who narrowly missed out on winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or, has steadily improved since his move from Flamengo in July 2018 and is undoubtedly Real Madrid’s best player. To date, he has played a total of 280 games for the club. He recorded 92 points and 82 assists in the tournament. He helped the team win three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies.
