Fallout London looks set to be coming soon as AI-modified Taylor Swift and Zuckerberg appear in Elder Scrolls Oblivion video

Whatever your views on AI, the massive amounts of computational power it requires, and its impact on the planet, there are times when it can be justified. Today is one of those times. The AI-modding of Taylor Swift, Mark Zuckerberg, and Kanye West in Bethesda’s 2006 Skyrim prequel Oblivion should be worth the few years it takes to shorten the lifespan of the planet.

Bethesda loading screens are usually full of sappy advice, but in a video parodying the buggy but wonderfully abominable thing loading in the background, IRL Loading Screens, an account, has released a video using AI to overlay celebrity renderings on top of Oblivions’ NPCs and give them their own celebrity advice. Sometimes people just have too much time on their hands. You can check out the video for yourself below.

Fallout London is ready for release

Meanwhile, after repeated delays due to Bethesda releasing Starfield first and then the next-gen version of Fallout 4, it looks like we may finally (finally) be getting a full Fallout 4 conversion soon. Fallout London From the Polon team.

In the post The mod developer said:

“There’s been a lot of speculation about our upcoming launch, and we wanted to give our core supporters an inside look. The bottom line is that we’ve sent several builds out to GOG for QA testing and are awaiting their final approval. Once they’ve double-checked that Fallout London and the installer work on all supported computers (yes, we have our own installer and downgrader too!), we’ll be able to launch. It’s in our best interest to get this final QA process done flawlessly, and we’re very grateful to GOG for their help.”

So it looks like we’re at the final leg of our journey. Traveling to a completely reimagined London will require Fallout 4 and DLC, but as you’ll see in the video below, it’ll be worth it.
