Fantasy football superflex rankings 2024: Week 9 QB, RB, WR, TE

23 Min Read

Welcome to Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings. We know many of you compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck this week!

To see these rankings without quarterbacks, click here.

1. Jayden Daniels, Commanders (QB1): Ordinary Week 8 outing until the final, memorable throw, but this week, he gets the Giants.

2. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB2): Five rushing touchdowns in the past two games, and no reason to think it’ll end soon.

3. Josh Allen, Bills (QB3): We hope the Week 8 interception isn’t a sign, and we could sure use more rushing TDs.

4. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (QB4): He’s playing so well that he should produce even in a tough matchup with the Broncos.

5. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR1): We hope his two TDs in the fourth quarter vs. 49ers is a precursor for many more.

6. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB1): As long as he gets six receptions a week, there’s not much to worry about. This week: Panthers.

7. Kyren Williams, Rams (RB2)

8. Saquon Barkley, Eagles (RB3)

9. Bijan Robinson, Falcons (RB4)

10. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR2): His QB’s play has leveled off, but Jefferson’s numbers remain consistent and excellent.

11. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR3): He has a TD in five consecutive games, but the targets, receptions and yards are concerning.

12. Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals (WR4): Under 5 yards per target against the Eagles, but that won’t continue against Raiders.

13. Malik Nabers, Giants (WR5): Still getting so many targets, and we can only dream what a better QB would do for him.

14. Kyler Murray, Cardinals (QB5): Comes off his first 300-yard passing game of season, but will need to run vs. the Bears, too.

15. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB6)

16. Bo Nix, Broncos (QB7)

17. Kirk Cousins, Falcons (QB8): Big game for his fantasy value against Dallas, to see if he can throw on a non-Buccaneers defense.

18. De’Von Achane, Dolphins (RB5): Return of his starting QB sure didn’t hurt his value. He might not see goal-line touches, though.

19. Joe Mixon, Texans (RB6): Only concern would be him remaining healthy due to this supreme volume. Hope for the best.

20. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR6): We have to ignore much of his season and focus on past results against the Bills.

21. Drake London, Falcons (WR7)

22. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR8)

23. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB9)

24. Sam Darnold, Vikings (QB10): He continues to perform as a solid QB2 option, and the Colts are shaky defensively.

25. Derrick Henry, Ravens (RB7): Expect his volume to return to higher levels, and the Broncos are middle of the pack versus the run.

26. D’Andre Swift, Bears (RB8): Nothing the first three weeks, but now he has TDs in four consecutive games. Enjoy the ride.

27. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB9): Certainly not a consistent statistical performer, but it’s tough to sit him.

28. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (RB10): The Vikings aren’t easy on opposing RBs, but Taylor is a special player when healthy.

29. Jordan Love, Packers (QB11): Groin injury could leave him on bench for Week 9, or compromised if he plays.

30. Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers (QB12)

31. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB13)

32. Puka Nacua, Rams (WR9)

33. Cooper Kupp, Rams (WR10): Assume his snaps and production rise for this game against a familiar foe in Seattle.

34. Aaron Jones, Vikings (RB11): Plenty of volume, and the Colts are fun for opposing RBs to run against.

35. Kareem Hunt, Chiefs (RB12): He has been an RB1 since taking the starting role. No reason for worry yet.

36. Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions (RB13): His 70-yard TD run saved what could have been a disappointing Week 8 fantasy effort.

37. James Cook, Bills (RB14)

38. Dak Prescott, Cowboys (QB14)

39. Joe Flacco, Colts (QB15): Well, in the words of the now-benched QB, we are tired of Anthony Richardson, ain’t gonna lie.

40. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR11): Should return from a quad injury to face the Raiders, who aren’t so bad against WRs.

41. Chris Olave, Saints (WR12): First 100-yard game of season gets him back on track toward 1,000 receiving yards

42. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR13): Seahawks are optimistic he will return from his knee injury, but you should have a plan.

43. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR14): If he can catch 125 yards’ worth of passes vs. the Bears, he can do that against Giants.

44. Matthew Stafford, Rams (QB16): Dormant fantasy value saved by the return of his top WRs. It’s time to invest.

45. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB17)

46. Breece Hall, Jets (RB15)

47. James Conner, Cardinals (RB16)

48. Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (RB17)

49. J.K. Dobbins, Chargers (RB18): Seems to be holding up fine with big volume ahead of the matchup with the tough Browns this week.

50. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB18): We tried to tell you his return wouldn’t save your fantasy team but rather others around him.

51. Derek Carr, Saints (QB19): His return won’t save your fantasy team either, but we like his matchup this week.

52. Caleb Williams, Bears (QB20)

53. Jared Goff, Lions (QB21)

54. C.J. Stroud, Texans (QB22): The loss of Stefon Diggs will not help, especially against the Jets this week.

55. Jameis Winston, Browns (QB23): Don’t expect 20-plus fantasy points every week. The Chargers permit just 13.9 points to QBs.

56. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (QB24): He has quietly returned to strong QB2 status, but the loss of receivers is likely a problem.

57. Tony Pollard, Titans (RB19)

58. Josh Jacobs, Packers (RB20)

59. Darnell Mooney, Falcons (WR15)

60. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR16): The Eagles aren’t throwing as much lately, making Smith touchdown-dependent. Could be dangerous.

61. DJ Moore, Bears (WR17): He has been held under 30 receiving yards in three of four games. Big game this week for his value.

62. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR18): More than 100 receiving yards in three of four contests despite the obvious mess around him.

63. Daniel Jones, Giants (QB25): Well, forget all the positive things we said a month ago. We didn’t mean it.

64. Drake Maye, Patriots (QB26): A concussion cost him most of Week 8. We’d love him back to face the Titans this week.

65. Andy Dalton, Panthers (QB27)

66. Aaron Rodgers, Jets (QB28)

67. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (RB21): Can’t call him a weekly RB2 option, but he does have a strong matchup with the Titans.

68. David Montgomery, Lions (RB22): We can’t help but notice the decreased volume in recent games, but all Lions numbers have been skewed recently.

69. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB23): He won’t average only 2.7 yards per rush for long, as the QB change has opened up the offense for him.

70. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (TE1): Targets have been there lately, and the Buccaneers are playing terrible pass defense.

71. Brock Bowers, Raiders (TE2)

72. David Njoku, Browns (TE3)

73. Trey McBride, Cardinals (TE4)

74. Cade Otton, Buccaneers (TE5): Hard to believe what he’s doing recently, but enjoy the ride while it lasts.

75. Evan Engram, Jaguars (TE6): Expect more targets with the team’s top receivers shelved.

76. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR19): Even with a rookie QB, the matchup with the Ravens’ secondary makes him a strong option.

77. Jayden Reed, Packers (WR20)

78. Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals (WR21)

79. Diontae Johnson, Ravens (WR22): Should play for his new offense this week, but don’t assume he will be elite.

80. Tyrone Tracy Jr., Giants (RB24): Left Monday’s game with concussion, but if he returns this week, he has to be the starter now.

81. Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (RB25): The rushing yards haven’t been there lately, but he still starts this week.

82. Javonte Williams, Broncos (RB26): Followed up his two-TD effort in Week 7 with typical ordinary numbers in Week 8.

83. Will Levis, Titans (QB29): Even the worst fantasy QBs still offer something in the deep leagues.
