Since yesterday Ministry of Justice press release:

Three Florida residents pleaded guilty today to conspiring to injure, oppress, intimidate or intimidate pregnancy resource center employees in the free exercise of their rights to provide and provide reproductive health services. The defendants selected reproductive health facilities that provided abortion alternatives and counseling and vandalized those facilities with threatening messages.

According to court documents, between May and July 2022, Caleb Freestone, Amber Smith-Stewart and Annarella Rivera carried out a series of targeted attacks targeting pregnancy prevention support centers in Florida. The defendants admitted participating in the attack in the dark of night, wearing masks and dark clothing to conceal their identities and spray-painting the facility with threatening messages, including “If Abortion Isn’t Safe, Better Than Both.” [sic] What about you?”, “It’s about time!!”, “WE’RE COMING FOR U”, “We are everywhere.”

“These defendants destroyed a pregnancy resource center with threatening messages designed to scare the center’s employees,” said Deputy Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Violence and intimidation have no place in our national discourse on reproductive rights. The Department of Justice is committed to holding accountable those who seek to impede access to reproductive health services in our country, regardless of the views of the defendants or victims.”

“Federal law protects providers who provide reproductive health care and those who seek those services,” said Roger Handberg, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. “No one should be subject to unlawful intimidation or threats of harm. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to protect access to reproductive health care and prosecute at the federal level those who interfere with that right. no see.” …
