FIA and Formula 1 confirm 2025 pre-season testing to be held in Bahrain

The FIA ​​and Formula 1 have confirmed that a three-day pre-season test will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit on 26, 27 and 28 February 2025, ahead of the FIA ​​Formula One World Championship season starting in Melbourne on 14-16 March.

The circuit has hosted six pre-season tests since 2009, with consistent weather conditions, a mix of high- and low-speed corners and two long straights allowing 10 F1 teams to test their cars and gather as much data as possible ahead of the season.

The Bahrain International Circuit was the first Formula 1 venue in the Middle East to host its inaugural Grand Prix in 2004 and in the 20 years since, the 5.42km circuit has produced nine winners from five different teams, with Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc all having won from the current grid.
